These terms apply to every free giveaway we run on our social media channels, including Instagram and Facebook. They are separate from the Terms & Conditions for our paid Competitions. By entering a giveaway you agree to these terms.
The promoter is 676 Merchandise Limited trading as 676 Competitions, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16147704, whose registered office is at 82 Forest Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottingham, England, NG17 9HD.

You must be aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom.
One entry per person per giveaway, across Instagram and Facebook combined. Entering from more than one account, or using bots or automated tools, disqualifies all of your entries.
Employees of the promoter, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with a giveaway cannot enter.
Entry is free. No purchase is necessary, and buying tickets for any of our Competitions does not enter you into a giveaway or improve your chances of winning one.
On Instagram, to enter you must do all four of the following before the giveaway closes:
Tagging more friends or commenting more than once does not earn extra entries.
On Facebook: like the giveaway post and comment on it. Facebook entries are not asked to share the post or tag friends.
You must still be following us on Instagram when the winner is picked for an Instagram entry to count.
We check these conditions for the picked entry, as set out in sections 6 and 7. Because a Story disappears after 24 hours and we cannot see Stories on private accounts, we ask an Instagram winner for a screenshot of their Story share when they claim, so keep one.
Each giveaway opens when the post is published and closes at the date and time stated in that post. Comments made after the closing time are not entered.
We will not extend the closing date unless circumstances outside our reasonable control make it unavoidable, and we will say so on the giveaway post if that happens.
We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not recorded because of a technical fault on Instagram, Facebook or your own device.
The prize is the amount of 676 site credit stated in the giveaway post. There is one winner per giveaway unless the post says otherwise.
Site credit is added to the winner’s 676 Competitions account wallet, so you need a free account at 676competitions.co.uk to receive it.
Site credit can be spent on any live Competition through the normal checkout, and those entries are subject to our Terms & Conditions, including the qualifying question. Site credit is also subject to the site credit terms there, including expiry 12 months after it is credited.
Site credit is not cash. It cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for cash or transferred to another person, and there is no cash alternative.
After a giveaway closes, the winner is picked at random from the comments on the giveaway post, counting one entry per account and only comments that meet section 3. Neither we nor any entrant can influence the result, and we keep a record of the entries and of the pick.
We then check that the picked entry meets the conditions in section 3 that we can see at that point, including that the account liked the giveaway post and still follows us. If it does not, it does not win and we pick again in the same way, until the picked entry meets them. This only happens before a winner is announced.
We announce the winner on our social channels on the date stated in the giveaway post, and contact them by direct message from our official account within 24 hours of the pick.
The winner must respond within 14 days of being notified, confirm they are aged 18 or over and resident in the UK, and give us the email address of their 676 Competitions account. We may ask for proof of age.
An Instagram winner must also send us a screenshot showing that they shared the giveaway post to their Instagram Story before the giveaway closed.
If the winner does not respond within 14 days, or cannot meet these terms, the prize is not awarded and is not offered to anyone else.
We add the site credit to the winner’s wallet within 7 days of them confirming their details, and aim to do it the same day so it can be spent on competitions that are about to close.
We only ever contact winners from our official accounts: @676competitions on Instagram and the 676 Competitions Page on Facebook. We will never ask for card details, bank details, a payment or a “release fee” to claim a prize.
If another account tells you that you have won, do not reply to it. Report it to the platform and tell us at support@676competitions.co.uk.
We announce the winner’s social media username on our social channels.
We are required to make the winner’s surname and county available to anyone who reasonably asks, and to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. If you win and object to this, tell us when you claim and we will limit what we share to what the ASA requires.
We use entrants’ usernames and comments only to run the giveaway, and the winner’s details only to award the prize and to meet our legal obligations. Entering a giveaway does not add you to any marketing list. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
These giveaways are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta. By entering you release Instagram, Facebook and Meta from all liability in connection with the giveaway. Any information you give is given to the promoter and not to those platforms.
We may disqualify any entry that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe involves cheating or abuse.
We will only cancel or change a giveaway where circumstances outside our reasonable control make it unavoidable, and we will say so on the giveaway post.
Our decision on all matters relating to a giveaway is final.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise our liability to you in connection with a giveaway is limited to the value of the prize.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
